Paul Mccoy

Paul McCoy, born in 1982, carries the lead vocals for the American Rock band "12 Stones", with guitarists, Eric Weaver, Greg Trammell and drummer, Aaron Gainer. Paul plays rhythm guitar, although he mostly keeps to vocals. The four band members met in Mandeville, La., a small suburb north of New Orleans and within 15 months had a record label with "Wind Up records". In reflection to their strong Christian backgrounds, the name of the band is significant to the 12 disciples that followed Jesus and taken metaphorically from the 12 stones in the Hoshen, a breastplate worn by the High Priest of Levitical order in the Old Testament. Paul was featured in the successful duet "Bring Me to Life" with Amy Lee, of Evanescence. On their second album "Potter's Field" Paul wrote the song, "Photograph" about the suicide of his younger sister's friend to emphasize, the positive, of doing something to make your circumstances better instead of seeing death as a way out.
