Paul Armentano

Paul Armentano is the executive director of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws, or NORML. A freelance commercial writer, Armentano has written articles for Penthouse Magazine, The Washington Post, Creative Screenwriting, and Congressional Quarterlyhttp://www.writersweekly.com/success_stories/000851_03192003.html. He has also been a High Times columnist since 1995. In addition to drafting testimony for presentation before Congress, Armentano himself has testified before federal agencies on drug policy issues. Armentano was head of the NORML Foundation, NORML's tax-exempt unit, for several years. He was chosen by the NORML board to serve as executive director for the whole organization, following Keith Stroup's resignation which took effect in January 2005.
