Patsy King

Patsy King (born 1929) is a Melbourne-based theatre actor. During the 1970s she also appeared in many of the Australian television series of the time such as Power Without Glory, Homicide, Division 4, Hunter, Bellbird, The Sullivans, Chopper Squad, Bluey, Out of Love, Good Morning Mr Doubleday, The Long Arm, Adventure Island and Playschool. Her best known role was that of prim prison governor Erica Davidson in cult soap opera Prisoner, a role she played from 1979 to 1983, with guest reappearances in 1984. Her stage credits include Elvira in Blithe Spirit, Margaret in Absurd Person Singular, Helena in A lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, Helen in Half a sixpence, Angelica in Love for love, Erica in Prisoner Cell Block H: The Stage Play. She earned the Erik Award for her portrayal of Agnes in Fourposter.
