Patrick Poivre D'arvor

Patrick Poivre d'Arvor (real name: Patrick Poivre) (born September 20, 1947) is a French TV journalist and writer. He is familiarily nicknamed PPDA. He was born in Reims, France. He is the news anchor for the 8 PM news on TF1 and as such probably the journalist whose face is the most familiar to the French. His alter ego the puppet PPD is the news anchor in the Les Guignols de l'Info satiric show. d'Arvor, Patrick Poivre
