Patrick Lane

Patrick Lane (born March 26, 1939, Nelson, British Columbia) is a Canadian poet. He first had his poetry published while he was a nomadic logger in northern British Columbia. He has lived for many years with fellow poet Lorna Crozier. They live in Saanichton, British Columbia. He is the brother of poet Red Lane. His poetry tends to deal with humanity's harsh treatment of the Earth, and also often touches on the frequent violence of human interrelations. Works: Lane, Patrick Lane, Patrick
