Patrick Joseph Driscoll

Patrick "Joe" Joseph Driscoll (???? - September 11, 2001), retired engineer. He was raised in New York, New York and moved to Manalapan, New Jersey in 1966. Patrick was active in the Yorktowne Club and an active member of his church, Our Lady of Mercy, Englishtown. In 2001 he moved to Point Pleasant, New Jersey. He was a United States Navy veteran of the Korean War. Driscoll died at 70 in the crash of United Airlines flight 93 in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack. He was on his way to his annual hiking trip in Yosemite National Park with his friend, William Cashman. A nephew of Driscoll's, Bill Nolan, was a rescue worker at the World Trade Center site and was presented with a signed New York Police Department cap by President George W. Bush to present to Driscoll's family. He is survived by his wife, Maureen; sons Stephen, Patrick, & Christopher; and daughter, Pamela Gould.
