Parasuco

Parasuco is a Canadian apparel company with focus on the young and fashion oriented consumer. Based in Montreal, the company is famous for the provocative and sexy ads that appear on billboards, bus shelters and in magazines.

History

The company was founded by its namesake Salvatore Parasuco in 1975 as Santana Jeans. Son of Italian immigrants (an immigrant himeself), he open his first store at the age of 19. The company changed its name to Parasuco in 1988 in order to enter the US market (Santana was already registered in the US).
