Paolo Conte

Paolo Conte is a famous Italian singer whose style can be compared to that of well known French chansonniers like Jacques Brel. He both writes and performs his own material and his grainy resonant voice adds a certain charm to his wistful, sometimes melancholic lyrics. His compilation album is entitled The Best of Paolo Conte.
