Panther De Ville

The DeVille was an exclusive luxury model from the British specialty maker, Panther Westwinds. Starting in 1974, the De Ville was positioned above the J72 as the company's top model. It used Jaguar XJ12 mechanicals, including the Jaguar V12 engine, and was produced in extremely limited numbers. Styling was reminiscent of the Bugatti Royale, and both fixed-top and rarer convertible versions were built. Pricing was a lofty 100,000, limiting the market to celebrities like Elton John. A notable De Ville Convertible owner was Cruella De Vil of Disney's One Hundred and One Dalmatians. Production of the De Ville ended in 1985 with roughly 60 produced. Engines: De Ville
