Pandora (Vampire)Pandora is the name of a vampire in Anne Rice's vampire mythos. Pandora was born a few years before the birth of christ, and was sired by Marius in her mid 30's in the city of Antioch, where she lived with him as lovers for over 200 years. Born Lydia, she was from a very important roman family,her father was close to the emperor of that time. But when a new emperor came, her family was betrayed (by her own brother) and killed. Pandora and her brother (the traitor) were the only that survived, and Pandora is taken to Antioch after changing her name, by a man who was very close to her father. There she meets Marius, a man for whom she had a special affection and has known since childhood, which had been made vampire... She falls in love with him and finds out this secret of his, and also that he protects and hides the Queen and King of all Vampires. Pandora becomes a vampire after a conflict envolving another vampire, and becomes also Marius's lover. Unfortunely they have some arguments and separate themselves, without ever stop thinking one of another.
