Pandareus

In Greek mythology, Pandareus was the son of Clymene and Merops. At the request of his friend, Tantalus, Pandareus stole a bronze dog from a temple to Zeus on Crete. According to various sources, he was turned to stone or fled to Sicily. He was the father of Aedon.
