Palmer's Penstemon

Penstemon palmeri Palmer's Penstemon, Penstemon palmeri Gray, is a penstemon notable for its showy, rounded, light-pink flowers. It is one of several types also known as balloon flowers. The plant is named after Edward Palmer. The plant typically grows to 1/2 to 1 meter in height. The leaves are opposite, wide, and grayish-green in color. Varieties include eglandulosus, macranthus, and palmeri.
