Pai Mei

Pai Mei (the name means "White Eyebrow") is a fictional martial arts master appearing in several films. He first appeared in the Hong Kong films Hung Hsi-Kuan (1977), Shao Lin ying xiong bang (1979), and Hung wen tin san po pai lien chiao (1980). In these movies, Pai Mei was played by Lieh Lo, who also directed Hung wen tin san po pai lien chia. He then appeared in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill volume 2 (2004), where he was presented as the master who taught The Bride, Bill, and Elle Driver. In this film, Pai Mei was played by Gordon Liu, who ironically previously starred in Hung wen tin san po pai lien chiao as the hero fighting the villain Pai Mei.
