Pacific Western UniversityPacific Western University is a former "Authorized" University in California. Now it is in Hawaii and has many offices in Asia. It has degree courses registered with the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education. The Oregon Office of Degree Authorization made the comment: - "Appears to be a diploma mill. ODA has no evidence that this is a legitimate provider of postsecondary education meeting Oregon standards. Unclear whether the entities using the name are all one, but none should be considered legitimate educational institutions."
The US General Accounting Office presented the results of an eight month examination of diploma mills and federal employees holding their degrees to the Senate Committee on Governmental Affairs in May 2004. Pacific Western University in Los Angeles was one of the six schools on which the investigation focused. External links
