Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan's College of Engineering is a tribute to late Shri Vasantdada Patil, former chief minister of Maharashtra. Former deputy Prime Minister Shri Yashwantrao Chavan, laid the foundation of the college. It is located right in the center of Mumbai along the Eastern Express highway at Sion, Mumbai. It is approved by the Government of Maharashtra, University of Mumbai and AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education) to conduct degree courses in Electronics and Computer Engineering. Various companies like L & T, CMC, Patni Computers, CMS, TCS visit the college for campus interviews. Dr. J. P. Desai is Principal of the college.
