Ourimbah

Ourimbah
Ourimbah is a town on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia. It lies roughly 80km north of the Sydney CBD, lying both on the Sydney to Newcastle CityRail line and the F3 (Sydney-Newcastle) freeway. It consists of a small township (a strip of shops, a couple of service stations, take-aways, pub and bottle shop), a rapidly-developing residential area, and a multi-purpose educational campus. The campus is usually referred to as the Ourimbah Campus of the University of Newcastle, although also known as the Central Coast Campus. Ourimbah achieved notoriety in January 1970 as the venue for an Australian rock festival modelled on Woodstock.
