Geography The south town line is the border of Oneida County, New York, and the west town line is the border of Oswego County, New York. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 225.4 km² (87.0 mi²). 225.4 km² (87.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.01% is water. Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 265 people, 112 households, and 74 families residing in the town. The population density is 1.2/km² (3.0/mi²). There are 402 housing units at an average density of 1.8/km² (4.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 99.62% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.38% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.38% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 112 households out of which 28.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% are married couples living together, 10.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 33.9% are non-families. 28.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.37 and the average family size is 2.88.
