History

The airline started its flights in September 1995 with two Boeing 727. For the CEO, Udom Tantiprasongchai, it wasn't the first airline he created, having created Cambodia International Airlines in 1990 and working there until 1994. In end of 2003 Orient Thai started the low-cost airline One-Two-GO.

The Orient Thai Airlines fleet consists of the following aircraft (at March 2005): Orient Thai operates some of the oldest 747s flying today, including HS-UTD and HS-UTH. Both were delivered to Japan Airlines in 1972.
