Organa FamilyIn the Star Wars fictional universe, the Organa family is the family that Bail Organa and Leia Organa-Solo belong to. The Organa Family are the historic Royal House of Alderaan, with the Crown of Alderaan inherited within the family. Before ascending as Prince, First Chairman and Viceroy of Alderaan, Bail Organa served as Senator from Alderaan in the Galatic Senate. He was a contemporary of Padme Amidala of Naboo and Obi-wan Kenobi. Together with his wife, Bail adopted Leia, the daughter of Anakin and Padm Skywalker. The adoption was secret and Leia's title of Princess is based on the public belief she is Bail's natural daughter and rightful heir.
