Operation GuardianHistory records two military operations named Operation Guardian: - The 1948 British-backed attempt to spark an anti-Communist civil war in Yugoslavia. Although thousands of Croats had been trained in Italy and Germany for the task, the shadow army melted away after returning to Yugoslavia. See also: Operation Keelhaul.
