Operation Antler

Operation Antler was a series of three open-air nuclear tests conducted by the United Kingdom in September and October, 1957 at Maralinga, Australia. The first two bombs were placed in towers, while the third was exploded high over the test site. Followed Buffalo, preceded Grapple. Followed by a complex cleanup effort (Brumby & Vixens). Maralinga is thunder in the local aboriginal language.
