Open Content Movement

The open content movement is yet another variation on the "open movement" theme. Others include the open systems movement, open source movement, open information movement, etc. The open content movement seeks the cataloging and/or accumulation of nonproprietary knowledge; particularly machine-readable knowledge about subjects other than computer programming. See: open content
