OmnaraOmnara is a fictional character in the animated series Static Shock. Her real name is Dr. Karen Roberts. Dr. Roberts used to work for Edwin Alva, Sr. He had her committed to her reasearch, trying to find out Static's secret identity. After Static helped restore his son Edwin Alva, Jr., Edwin Alva, Sr. no longer had a problem with Static and cancelled Dr. Roberts' research. Dr. Roberts refused to continue working at Alva Industries, so Edwin Alva, Sr. fired her. After she was fired, her special surveillance cameras showed her Static's real face, and thus his secret identity. She subsequently hired Puff and Onyx to abduct Robert Hawkins, the father of Virgil Hawkins (Static). To save his father, Static had to steal an item of an old project of hers from Alva Industries' Project Omni. In an confrontation with Gear, Static clued him in about the Project Omni Worm Program, which whould put a computer virus in every computer in the world and put surveillance everywhere. While she was connecting herself to her project's machinery and became capable of blasting Static, Gear installed a Counter-Worm program into Project Omni. Static rescued his father and all three of them escaped from Omnara, but she could now control all mechanical devices, so she used cars to try and take them out, but at the same time Gear's counter-virus kicked in. Omnara overloaded and was taken to a hospital.
