Old Thumper

Old Thumper is a bitter beer brewed by the Ringwood Brewery in Hampshire, United Kingdom. It is a relatively strong 'real ale' at 5.8% alcohol by volume, but has a light, hoppy taste. It can be purchased across the south east of England, and as with all bitters and ales should be drunk whilst fresh, and hand-pulled from a barrel. It was awarded 'Champion beer of Britain' by Camra in 1988.
