Old-school Ebm

Old-school EBM is a subcategory of the musical genre of industrial music, in particular, electronic body music (EBM). It refers to music of bands such as Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, A Split Second, The Klinik and The Neon Judgement. The term became popular during recent years to emphasize a clear difference between older electronic body music acts, and more modern genres from the late 1990s such as futurepop. Old-school EBM was a fore-runner to New beat.
