Old Dumpling Master

Old Master Q (Chinese text needed - transliteration: Lao Fu Zi) was a humor comic strip produced in Hong Kong during the 1970s and 1980s. Much of its dialogue is in Chinese and some interjections are in English. The characters include Old Master Q, Mr. Chun, and Mr. Potato. Old Dumpling Master is the main character who is generally ill-tempered. Mr. Chun is arrogant and suave. Mr. Potato is a short man. All three men were generally womanizers. There were generally two artists of the strip. The creator and artist has died and the strip has been reprinted numerous times. Several full-length animated movies have also been made. In the San Gabriel Valley region of California, there are two restaurants bearing the name "Dumpling Master" (but same Chinese text), which serves Taiwanese cuisine.
