Octorok

Octoroks are enemies from Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda-series of games. Octoroks resembles octopi with outwarding mouths whose primary attack is to spit rocks at anything that threatens them. These creatures have been featured in every Zelda games since the series debut on the NES in 1986. Originally Octoroks were land enemies, their water-based equvalent being the Zora. However, A Link to the Past was the first to feature a friendly, yet a very threatening looking Zora. In Ocarina of Time the Octoroks were officially made water-exclusive enemies and their land-based versions were replaced by the Deku Scrubs who spit nuts at enemies. The Zora evolved in to a friendly, elegant and intelligent species in this game. In Majora's Mask there's also an intelligent community (a kingdom) of Deku Scrubs. It seems that Octoroks have no chance of ever becoming a friendly race in the Zelda-series.
