Nusch Eluard

Nusch Eluard was born Maria Benz. She arrived in France as a traveling acrobat. Like her husband Paul Eluard, Nusch was also an artist and created surrealist collages (contributed by Ania Pietka). She was the subject of several paintings and sketches by Pablo Picasso.
