NubbinNubbin is a character in the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre film. Real name Edward Sawyer, he is the brother of Leatherface and Chop Top. His name in the credits is just Hitchhiker. His role in the family business is to rob graves for purposes which are never made truly clear, although his "legitimate" employment is at a local slaughterhouse. NOTE: Nubbin is also the "little red dot things" used for a mouse on a keyboard in Episode 45 of Red vs. Blue. At the end of the first movie he is run over by an eighteen-wheeler, and spends the entirety of the second film as a puppet-corpse carried around by his brother Chop Top. Differences between Chainsaws 1 & 2 In a first draft screenplay of Texas Chainsaw Massacre Part 2, by L.M. Kit Carson, the character Chop Top was the same with Hitchhiker of Chainsaw 1. For some reason he didn't die when the truck ran over him at the end of the original film, but ended up with a metal head plate. Indeed, the two characters have many things in common in appearance and behaviour. Another similar change from first to final drafts is the fact that the puppet-corpse used to be Granpa, but it ended up being Nubbin. (Granpa, in the final draft was alive, just like he was in Chainsaw 1).
