Nrx-0015-hc Gundam Ashtaron Hermit CrabIn the anime series Gundam X, the Gundam Ashtaron Hermit Crab is the updated version of the NRX-0015 Gundam Ashtaron. This update was necessary after the New Earth Federation decided to focus on battle in space. The update included better versions of the stomic scissor claws but the most powerful weapon of the Gundam was an optional satellite cannon, which could only be used in mobile armor mode. Also the NRX-0013-CB Gundam Virsago Chest Break was necessary, because it was Shagias mobile suit which collected the power from the moon. The Gundam Ashtaron Hermit Crab was recklessly used by the Frost brothers against the New Earth Federation as well as the Space Revolutionary Army but finaly it was defeated by the GX-9901-DX Gundam Double X.
