Nowy Korczyn (5018 / 2049) also known as Khadash, Nayshtut, Neustadt, Novi Kochin and Novi Kortchin, known formerly as Nowe Miasto Korczyn, is a village at the mouth of Nida river, where it meets the Wistula river in Busko-Zdrj County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodship, Poland. It was established before 1258 by Boleslaus the Chaste, and used to be an important trade and political center. Since 15th century, the general sejmik of Lesser Poland was held there. Since 17th century, the town has gone into decline and lost its city rights in 1869.
