North Ice

North Ice was the name of a research station of the British North Greeland Expedition (1952 to 1954) on the inland ice. The coordinates of the station were , with an altitude of 2 345 Meters above sea level. The station recorded the lowest temperature ever in Greenland with -65,9C, on January 9, 1954. Another research station on the inland ice of Greenland was Eismitte.
