Norm Mcfarlane

Norm McFarlane was elected as the 64th Mayor of Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada, in May, 2004. He was born in Apohaqui, New Brunswick. Although becoming mayor was not his first venture into politics, he has a short political history: In 1999 he was elected as a Member of the Legislative Assembley for the provincial riding of Saint John Lancaster, and shortly became the New Brunswick Minister of Labour. In 2000 he became the Minister of Training and Employment Development. He no longer holds these positions.
