Nordmre

Nordmre (lit. "North-Mre") is a landscape of mid-Norwegian county Mre og Romsdal and compromises the municipalities of Kristiansund, Avery, Frei, Tingvoll, Surnadal, Rindal, Aure, Halsa, Tustna, and Smla. Its central city is Kristiansund. In the early Viking Age, before Harald Fairhair, Nordmre was a petty kingdom.
