Nitrogenous Base

Nitrogenous bases are organic compounds that owe their basic properties to the lone pair of electrons of a nitrogen atom. Typical nitrogenous bases are ammonia (NH3), triethylamine, pyridine, and the nucleobases adenine, guanine, thymine, and cytosine.
