Nissan Pathfinder

Nissan's Pathfinder is a SUV for the American market. It is a midsize model. Introduced in the mid 1980s, around late 1985, the first generation lasted until 1995. The second generation, introduced in 1996 has more rounded styling. In 2000, the Pathfinder was freshened, with a new 240 horsepower (179 kW) V6 engine. Finally, at the 2004 North American International Auto Show, Nissan unveiled a completely redesigned Pathfinder for the 2005 model year. The new pathfinder uses Nissan's F-Alpha platform. In late 2003, a full-size SUV, the Pathfinder Armada, debuted. Although they share a common name, they have little similarity and use different platforms. The Pathfinder is also known as the Terrano in many markets outside of North America.
