Ninja ChampionNinja Champion is a 1985 Hong Kong martial arts and detective movie by Godfrey Ho. The plot is about an Interpol agent called Donald (Bruce Baron) who is investigating on a diamond smuggling criminal organisation, led by nefarious Maurice (Pierre Tremblay). He finds out with the help of his boss Richard (Richard Harrison) about the rape of a woman named Rose (Nancy Chan) who is implicated in Maurice's crime ring. The movie has been created by Godfrey Ho using his trademark cut-and-paste technique. He bought older Asian movies, has shot scenes with Western actors (whose scenes are only paid for one movie although they get used again in others, such as Richard Harrison) who eventually fight with martial arts disguised in colorful ninja costumes, edited all those scenes and tried to make it coherent. According to many viewers, the movie is still very non-sensical and doesn't make sense even when it tries to explain itself. French bad movie amateurs consider this movie to be a classic for them, particularly for the climax at the ending, when Donald encounters Maurice who explains all his plan in a speech which turns out to be... extremely absurd and confusing. This movie is available in a 50 DVD pack called "Martial Arts" that is sold online. External links *Flic ou Ninja Review of the film on bad movie website
