NimboNimbo- is a prefix used in meteorology when describing clouds; it indicates precipitation. Hence a nimbostratus cloud is a rain-bearing stratus cloud. The word nimbo- is an adjectival form of the Latin word nimbus, meaning a cloud or rainstorm.
Nimbo is also a portmanteau of ninja and bimbo, used to describe a class of over-endowed female characters primarily found in comic books. Examples of nimbos include: Nimbos are distinguished by their shapely appearance, fondness for highly revealing outfits, and skill with varieties of Asian martial arts and weapons. In some cases, the fighting skills are more exotic, even extraterrestrial in origin.
