Niger Trigger

The Niger Trigger is a vertebrate marine fish native to the warm waters of 78 - 81 F. It is an aggressive fish that preys on invertebrate coral and territoral bound as a solo predator. The Niger Triggerfish is a dark blue bodied fish. The fins are all blue-green in color, having yellow and light blue trim. It has a lyre shaped caudal fin with a yellow bar between the lobes. Niger Triggers have a retractable dorsal fin. Their pectoral fins are very small and fairly useless, so they swim with their dorsal and anal fins the most. They are fairly poor swimmers, but good at ambushing.
