Nick Beverley

Nick Beverley (Born: April 21, 1947 in Toronto, Ontario, is a former hockey player in the NHL, and former head coach in the NHL and AHL. As a player, he played for the Boston Bruins, Pittsburgh Penguins, New York Rangers, Minnesota North Stars, and Colorado Rockies. He has career totals in the NHL of 18 goals, 94 assists for 112 total points in 501 games played. Following his playing career, he decided to get into coaching. Upon retiring from hockey he became assistant coach of the Los Angeles Kings in 1981. He later became head coach of the New-Haven Nighthawks of the AHL and got his first and only head coach position in the NHL with the Toronto Maple Leafs as a mid-season replacement in 1996.
