Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 550 people, 215 households, and 155 families residing in the town. The population density is 6.0/km² (15.5/mi²). There are 342 housing units at an average density of 3.7/km² (9.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.36% White, 1.09% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.55% from two or more races. 0.55% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
