Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 6.2 km² (2.4 mi²). 2.1 km² (0.8 mi²) of it is land and 4.0 km² (1.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 65.13% water.

As of the census ² of 2000, there are 1,010 people, 443 households, and 314 families residing in the town. The population density is 469.8/km² (1,222.6/mi²).
