Neutrality Pact
The
neutrality pact
refers to more than one
pact
between the
Soviet Union
and
Japan
, and a proposed pact between the
United States
and
Nazi Germany
, during
World War II
. The intention of these pacts was to form an
alliance
between agreed member nations. Later on, in
1941
,
Japan
would consider breaking the pact when
Germany
invaded the
Soviet Union
. They made the crucial decision to keep it and to continue to press into Southeast Asia.
