Nero Ag

Nero AG is a German software company, best known for their CD burning software package, Nero Burning ROM. They are also involved in development of the Nero Digital MPEG-4 compression technology (in partnership with Ateme corporation), as well as several other software projects relating to multimedia applications. The company was founded in 1995 and was originally known as Ahead Software until the beginning of January 2005, when it adopted its present name. Nero AG has international subsidiaries in the United States and Japan.
