Nederland

Nederland is the Dutch name of The Netherlands. Notably the Dutch are amongst the few in this world who have a singular name for their country, as opposed to the German Die Niederlande, French Les Pays-Bas or the English The Netherlands. Perhaps because of this confusing plural naming, foreigner often refer to The Netherlands as Holland, which is actually only a small part of the country. Nederland is also the name of a village in Steenwijk and several places in the United States of America:
