Nawabshah

Nawabshah city (established in 1912) is located in center of Sindh, Pakistan, and is therefore often known as the "Heart of Sindh". Nawabshah is famous for sugarcane and banana production. Its environment is hot and dry. With An Airport near the City, where General Pervez Musharraf, President of Pakistan, was asked to be arrested on the flight from Colombo (sri Lanka) the day former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was ousted.There are also some Institutes of Engineering & Medicology, Quaid e Awam University of Engineering Science & Technology, Nawabshah offers degrees in: Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Telecommunications Engineering Civil Engineering Information Technology Computer Science For Medical, Peoples Medical College, Nawabshah, for women only.
