Navaratnas

Navaratnas (nine (nav), jewels (ratnas)) was the collective title of the nine most valuable members in the court of Mughul Emperor Akbar. Tansen was the leader of the Navaratna. There are a number of things in modern India named after this historic group. One of them is the Public-sector units that perform well.
