Native Oberon

Native Oberon is the version of the Oberon operating system which runs on bare PC hardware. It has moderate hardware requirements (133MHz Pentium, 100MB hard disk, and a VESA 2 graphics card with a resolution of at least 1024x768 pixel, optionally a 3COM Network card). The basic system runs from a single HD-Floppy and additional stuff can be installed through the network. It is written completely in the Oberon programming language. The user interface is very unusual and needs quite some time of climbing up on a very steep learning curve. Be warned: the user interface can be very frustrating in the beginning, but after the first steps you can be very productive.
