Nathaniel Waena

Sir Nathaniel Waena is the governor-general of the Solomon Islands since July 7 2004. He had been elected by that country's parliament on June 15, 2004, with 27 of 41 votes, compared to 6 for incumbent John Lapli and 8 for former Prime Minister, Sir Peter Kenilorea.
