Nasda

NASDA was the National Space Development Agency of Japan. It was founded on October 1, 1969. Its headquarters was the Tanegashima Space Center, located on Tanegashima Island, 115 kilometers south of Kyushu. NASDA came to its end and was reborn as JAXA on October 1, 2003, merging with the Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) and the National Aerospace Laboratory of Japan (NAL).
